Overtightening Stress: Do not exceed a torque of 15-18 N.m. Excessive force can cause the aluminum clamp to bow, which creates localized stress points on the solar module glass, potentially leading to micro-
cracks.Galvanic Corrosion: Never use carbon steel bolts (even zinc-plated) with aluminum Mid Clamps. Always insist on Stainless Steel 304 (A2-70) fasteners to prevent the clamp from corroding and failing within a few years.
