DIN 975 is the traditional German industrial standard for Threaded Rods (also known as All-Thread). This standard specifies the requirements for metric series rods that are continuously threaded from end to end, commonly supplied in standard lengths of 1 meter, 2 meters, or 3 meters.

These fasteners are versatile components used in construction, HVAC installation, and machinery assembly to hang pipes, secure structural elements, or create custom-length stud bolts. While DIN 975 has been officially withdrawn and partially replaced by DIN 976-1, it remains the most widely recognized term in the global fastener trade for standard full-thread rods.

The technical focus of DIN 975 is linear load transmission and adjustability. Because the rod is threaded along its entire length, nuts and couplings can be positioned at any point, providing infinite adjustability for hanging systems or tensioning applications. The thread profile follows the metric ISO standard (DIN 13), ensuring compatibility with all standard metric nuts and washers.
