  • Incompatible Hardware: Do not use low-grade zinc-plated bolts with HDG C-Channels. The galvanized surface will cause the thin zinc plating on the bolt to fail via galvanic action. Always use HDG or Stainless
    Steel 304
    fasteners.

  • Edge Rust: On-site cutting of Galvanized C-Shaped Steel exposes raw carbon steel. It is mandatory to seal all cut edges with high-zinc cold galvanizing spray to prevent "creep corrosion."
