• Head Deformation: Poorly forged heads can cupping under tension, leading to pulley wear. Longze uses Reinforced Cold-Heading to ensure the head maintains its concave profile under full torque.

• Fang Shear: If the lugs are too brittle, they snap off during installation. We implement a specific tempering cycle for Class 8.8/10.9 bolts to ensure the fangs have the "bite" without being brittle.

• Nut Back-off: Vibration is the #1 killer of elevator bolts. We strictly recommend using Longze DIN 985 Nyloc Nuts or our specialized Large Domed Washers to maintain constant tension on the belt.

• Matched Washers: Always use the Large Convex Washers (DIN 15237 Standard) provided in our kits. They are shaped to nest perfectly within the bucket's mounting holes.
