ISO 7089 is the premier international standard for plain, flat washers in the normal series with product grade A. Designed for high-precision mechanical assemblies, it ensures controlled load distribution under bolt heads and nuts, protecting surfaces from deformation during high-torque tightening.

ISO 7089 washers are characterized by their flat bearing surfaces and a no-chamfer outer diameter edge. This design provides maximum surface contact area for standard hex bolt connections. They are optimized to work with fasteners of property class 8.8 and above when specified in appropriate hardness grades.
